About the Founded in Purpose. Giving for Tomorrow Challenge

Teaching and Learning strengthen Wheaton’s academic experience by supporting innovative teaching, creative exploration, hands-on learning, and faculty excellence. Together, these funds provide students with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to discover their passions, expand their perspectives, and prepare for meaningful futures.

Generosity through the fund for Academic & Faculty Support helps maintain the academic excellence and high standards that continue to be the cornerstone of a Wheaton education. Your contribution supports academic departments, the Madeleine Clark Wallace Library, faculty development, and students’ journey while they chart their way through Wheaton’s Compass Curriculum.

Wheaton's campus is enriched by the Beard and Weill Galleries, Permanent Collection, and the Public Art at Wheaton and the Arts & Creative Expression fund supports artistic programs, creative spaces, and resources that allow students to explore and develop their talents. Your gift also enables Wheaton to bring professional artists to campus and create opportunities for theater, dance, and visual arts students to showcase their work.

Public health students at Wheaton learn how to save, extend and improve lives. The fund for Public Health & Service makes it possible for Wheaton to enhance offerings to students interested in public health and service-related fields. Your support ensures our future nurses and frontline healthcare workers have access to the resources, training, coursework and experiential learning opportunities they need to address local and global inequities in our healthcare system.

Generosity through the fund for Science, Technology, and Innovation helps prepare students for successful careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines. Funding provides state-of-the-art technology in classrooms and Innovation Spaces and experiential learning opportunities. Your support fosters innovation, encourages hands-on learning, and helps to shape the next generation of leaders, researchers and innovators.
