Science-minded global citizens flourish in fields like conservation, forestry, community planning, wildlife protection, natural resources management, and environmental policy and every day Wheaton students are discovering the challenges facing planet Earth—and ways to address them. However while our students are exploring woodlands and wetlands near campus, immersing themselves in climate research, and taking their studies abroad—or aboard, if marine ecology is calling, it is vital that we preserve the natural world at Wheaton. 

An endowed fund of $100,000 has been established to conserve and safeguard our campus's majestic trees, lush landscape, and 400+ acre ecosystem. As we look to grow and enhance this community endowed fund, with your support and partnership Wheaton will be able to preserve the campus for generations to come by:

• Maintaining the trees of the Dimple and the trees across campus by providing extensive care and maintenance they require which includes treatments for tree diseases and threats, trimming, removal of dead trees, and tree plantings.
• Upkeeping the campus's vibrant landscape that need repairing from their frequent use and the harsh New England winters—that take a toll—by providing maintenance to sidewalks, patios, stone walls and other landscape/hardscape features.
